Submission Process
Our New Technology review process is designed to bring together business leaders across Product Management, R&D, Regulatory, and Intellectual Property to assess each submission and provide feedback in a responsive and transparent manner. If you have a solution to an unmet clinical need, we would love to hear from you.
Submission
At this time, we ask that you only submit non-confidential information in order for us to determine if there is alignment with ATEC's strategy and priorities. Your submission must have enough information for our business leaders to complete an initial assessment. Once your submission has been reviewed and logged, you will receive an email that your submission has been successfully received.
Initial Assessment (Non-Confidential)
Once your submission is received, we may schedule a meeting with you to gather additional non-confidential information about your idea. Next, the submission will be reviewed by our New Tech Committee which comprises cross-functional business leaders that will assess your idea in the context of commercialization, intellectual property, technical feasibility, and alignment with our corporate strategy. You will be contacted at the end of this Initial Assessment.
Technical Business Review (Confidential)
If ATEC elects to move forward to the next stage of review, a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) will be needed so that confidential information may be shared. During this stage, our Product Management team will review the business case for commercializing the product. Our R&D team may also perform prototyping or feasibility testing. Finally, our Legal Team will review the IP landscape surrounding your submission.
Executive Sponsorship
Once ATEC has completed the review outlined above, and if your submission has met the requirements established by the business leads, a framework for our partnership will be established. If your submission does not meet the requirements established by our business leads, you will be notified.

We employ procedural and technological security measures that are reasonably designed to help protect your personally identifiable information from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. ATEC respects your right to access and correct your personal information. Non-Confidential Information Disclosure
ATEC's New Tech review process begins with an initial assessment of non-confidential information. Any and all information provided to ATEC at this stage and/or via this portal shall be considered non-confidential information and ATEC shall be under no obligations to treat any such information as confidential and/or proprietary as to the submitting entity/individual.
